Founded in 1980, the international journal Recherches en Didactique des Mathématiques presents research in the field of didactics of mathematics. The journal publishes original articles in three languages: English, Spanish and French. It is addressed to researchers in didactics of mathematics, mathematics teachers and teacher educators, mathematicians and more generally to professionals who contribute to the development and improvement of the teaching and learning of mathematics.

Recherches en Didactique des Mathématiques reflects the diversity of international research in mathematics education in terms of questions, theoretical and methodological frameworks and epistemology. It welcomes the results of experimental or empirical research, as well as theoretical, methodological, epistemological and mathematical contributions.

Issues published by La Pensée Sauvage before 2024, are available in digital form on the publisher’s website and will soon be freely accessible on Episciences. A printed version of the three annual issues is also available by subscribing to revue-rdm.com
